Climbing mountains often involves sitting around for days in your tent waiting for the weather to improve. The MK3 provides more room for those lofty winter bags while offering all the same expedition features of the MK 1XL: tunnel vents high up on each side wall for extra ventilation, tie points 1/3 the way up each pole seam and a full sized 40" high door weather protected at top by a wire stiffened eyebrow peak allowing for ventilation.
