Description
It was first marketed in 1938 by Rowntree's Canadian branch. Now owned by Nestlé Canada. The bar is a combination of coffee cream, cookie wafers and milk chocolate coating. It does contain a small amount of coffee, although much of its coffee taste comes from flavouring. Canadian expatriates in the US have long lamented the bar's relative unavailability outside of Canada. As of September 2006, Nestle USA has begun distributing Coffee Crisp as one of their permanent candy bars.
