Description

A wedge-shaped 2-3 person alpine emergency shelter. Can be set up between 2 hiking poles, slung between trees or anchored from two belay points to make a shelter on a ledge. The 10 lightweight webbing loops on the bottom edge allow for a number of tent-shaped setup configurations. The tunnel vents on the top of each side provide ventilation and anchor / belay points. The Guides Silsack can also be set up as a doubled flat tarp, 5 ft wide by 7 ft along one edge and 9 ft along the other edge.
